Requirements, Dates, and Forms
Shore Conference of High Schools Athletic Hall of Fame pays tribute to the many individuals from our member schools who have been a part of the rich tradition of the Shore Area athletic programs.
Looking forward to our first induction in 2009/2010, the committee would like to update its files. The committee would like to have as many nominees to choose from as possible. If you would like to nominate a person who you feel is qualified, and meets the criteria please download the following forms and send to the address at the bottom of this page.
Candidate Selection Criteria FAQs
What does one need to qualify?
He/she must have been a student athlete at one of the Shore Conference High Schools and demonstrated individual or team sports ability which brings recognition, acclaim, and civic pride to the Shore Conference.
What specific qualifications are required?
Olympian, All-American, National Champion, Professional Athlete, All-State, All-County, Multi-Sport Champion, Winning Record, Long Service Record, "Best Team".
How many years before he/she is able to qualify?
Ten years elapsed time since high school participation.
Are nominations limited to student athletes only?
While members will normally be a Shore Conference High School graduate, shore area residents who have contributed to the success of the Shore Conference through their volunteer efforts may also be nominated.
Who can submit nominations?
Candidates will be solicited from coaches, fans, family, and community members.
May I nominate myself?
Absolutely. Any and all nominations will be considered.
